Our parent program:
- Provides opportunities for parents to play and learn with their children.
- Promotes positive change to strengthen the family.
- Helps families learn new parenting skills.
- Provides assistance for parents to solve their own problems and learn a better way of life.
Our goals for families:
- To provide a special place for you and your children that has a feeling of family, safety, support, acceptance, and love.
- To assist you and your children to be successful at work, at school, at home, in the community, and in life.
- To work as partners with you by involving you as the most important person in your children’s lives and basing our program on your needs.
- To assist you in your efforts to have a positive, meaningful, and healthy family relationships.
- To provide an environment of mutual respect.
Requirements:
- Parents must complete 25 hours of parent participation activities per year to stay enrolled in our Center.
- There are many ways to participate: classroom volunteering, attending parent education on site, family therapy and theraplay, serving on our parent leadership team, helping on a weekend work day, and many, many more!
